Two years after Commander Benjamin Sisko looses his wife in the Borg attack at Wolf 359, he takes command of the Bajoran Space Station, Deep Space Nine, only to find that it's former Cardassian crew did not leave it in the best of condition. When the Bajoran Kai gives him a mysterious orb, it leads him to discover a stable wormhole.
