Synopsis - When Garak starts to look unwell and asks Quark to order an illegal device from one of his Cardassian contacts, Bashir gets more than he bargained for when he tries to find out why. Garak admits to him that a pleasure giving device in his head has, meant for torture purposes, has become a narcotic and has been on for the past two years. However, the device was not meant for continuous use and is now malfunctioning. Garak also gives Bashir some insight, composed of true lies, about his past.
