Synopsis - The crew of the DS9 have returned to Earth aboard the Defiant to chair a syposium on the Gamma Quadrant. But in beaming down to San Fransisco, Sisko, Bashir, and Dax don't materialise when they should, they instead find themselves in San Fransisco of 2025. Sisko and Bashir are taken to an area of the city filled with homeless and jobless people that the government has just forgotten, while Dax is found by a celebrety of somesort, claiming that she was mugged she is able to get some fake ID. Meanwhile, when Sisko and Bashir are attacked, a man who was supposed to lead a revolution in a couple of days steps in and gets killed for them, causing the entire Federation to be non-existant in the 24th century.
