Synopsis - In a meeting with Temporal Investigations, Sisko explains how he and the crew of the Defiant ended up in the 23rd century while Kirk the Enterprise were guarding a shipment of grain on space station K-7 (TOS #42 "The Trouble With Tribbles). It turns out they were carrying Arne Darvin who still appeared human. He took the ship back to try and destroy Captain Kirk in an effort to save his own career and stop the infiltration of tribbles into the Klingon Empire. Also Sisko, upon seeing Captain Kirk for the first time make a reference to his battle with the Gorn on Cestus III (TOS #19 "Arena"). The final scene, involving Lieutennant Sisko handing a padd to Kirk for signing was borrowed from the final scene of TOS #39 "Mirror Mirror".
