Synopsis - Bashir is on his way to a medical conference, but before he can leave, the entire senior staff is quarantined by Internal Affairs due to the possibility of a security leak. They quickly target Bashir as a Dominion spy.
Inquisition explores the faction of any government that we don't know exists, and most of the time don't want to know exists. Section 31 is to Starfleet what the Obsidian Order was to Cardassia; what the Tal'Shiar is to Romulus; and what Area 51 was for many years to the United States. This is the first time we've heard about anything like this in Starfleet.
